Muhammadeziz Tursunniyaz is a PhD student at Prof. Joseph Andrews’s group at UW Madison. He received his B.S. in Engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China in 2012 and his MSc. In electrical engineering from Utah State University in 2017. During his MSc study, he developed a procedure for inkjet printing antennas on glass and printed the optically transparent reflectarray on space certified glass for small satellite applications. His research interests include printed electronic sensors, reconfigurable antennas, and microwave circuits. Currently he is working on developing low cost, highly sensitive capacitance-based immunoassays for biosensing. Outside his research, he enjoys swimming (beginning level).
