On November 19, 2024, the LPES Lab participated in the Thoreau Elementary Family Science Night, bringing hands-on science and engineering to the curious minds at Thoreau Elementary School. Through engaging activities like a conductive maze, a flexible printed piano, and a pressure sensor demonstration, our team introduced young scientists to innovative circuit fabrication techniques and sensor design. These interactive experiments sparked curiosity and provided a glimpse into the exciting possibilities of modern electronics and their real-world applications.
Below are some snapshots from the event showcasing the enthusiasm and creativity of these budding scientists!
